Displayed on a blue background, two detailed white line drawings demonstrate the intricate design of an oboe or English horn, referencing a patent registered on November 6, 1888. Various parts of the instrument are meticulously labeled with numbers, indicating the complexity of its mechanisms. The patent number, 392,521, is credited to C. F. Müller, whose invention is attested to by a witness signature at the bottom left.
